Charity Sector Speciality

We have worked for and with different sizes and types of charities for well over a decade, giving us an all round appreciation of the need for a strategic approach, awareness and funds in order for charities to carry out their objectives. We take a business approach whilst never losing sight of the charity's primary objectives and the reason for its very existence.

From children's charities working in the UK and worldwide, to hospices, animal charities and public bodies, we have been actively working on both sides of the fence - directly for charities and also for commercial organisations in partnership with charities to achieve CSR programmes and the business objectives of both parties. We have even won an award for our Rake Out Your Old Tools Campaign (click here for details).

We carry out strategic reviews to enable charities to see and plan their way forward. Our external view can provide valuable insight, giving trustees and senior management the information and clarity they need to chart the future. This can either be a stand alone project or part of a continuing programme.

For more than ten years we worked with Make-A-Wish Foundation UK, now the country's leading wish granting charity and part of the largest wish granting organisation in the world. In the mid 1990's we were appointed by Make-A-Wish Foundation UK (then a small charity with very limited funds) to help them improve their profile and fundraising. Over the years, with hard work from everyone, the number of wishes granted to children and young people living with life-threatening illnesses has steadily risen, as has the charity's income and profile.

We now work with Feed the Children UK, a small UK charity dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children in the UK and in some of the poorest areas of the world. Their chief executive officer, Brian Main, is quoted on our testimonials page.

Some of the charities we have been involved with, either directly or on behalf of commercial clients where we have actively encouraged involvement, include:

  • Guide Dogs for the Blind Association
  • Duchess of Kent House Trust
  • Chase Children's Hospice
  • Buglife
  • Parity for Disability
  • Children with Special Needs Foundation
  • Garden Organic
  • Plus many local charities
